The rain may have fallen, but it certainly didn't dampen the excitement at Silver Creek Campground's ribbon cutting today.

Parish President Ryan Seal, Councilwoman Kim Miller Wagner, and Councilman Steven Ray Branch were proud to join family, friends, and community members in welcoming the Soder Family and celebrating their investment in Mt. Hermon.

Silver Creek Campground is a wonderful addition to Washington Parish, offering another opportunity for residents and visitors alike to enjoy the natural beauty and hospitality that make our parish such a special place.

We congratulate the Soder Family on this exciting new venture and wish them many years of success! 🎉🏕️

“On this D-Day anniversary, we pause to honor the extraordinary courage of the Allied forces who faced unimaginable danger in the name of freedom. Their sacrifice changed the course of history and secured the liberties we enjoy today. We owe a debt of gratitude to those heroes and to all who have worn our nation’s uniform in service to our country. May we never forget their valor, their sacrifice, and the price paid for freedom.”

A special thank you to Councilman Steven Ray Branch and his wife, Christina for preparing an amazing lunch for our Washington Parish Government team today!

We are grateful for friends like Steven and Christina who are always willing to give back and show their support. The food was outstanding, but the fellowship and time spent together were even better.

We appreciate your generosity and friendship, Steven and Christina. Thank you for treating our team to a wonderful lunch! 🍽️🇺🇸

One thing about Washington Parish—you never have to look far to find a breathtaking view. Last night’s storm clouds created a beautiful scene across our parish, reminding us once again why we’re proud to call this place home.

A special thank you to our friends and neighbors who share photos like this with us. We love showing off the natural beauty, people, places, and moments that make Washington Parish so special.

If you have a photo you’d like to share, send it our way. We may feature it on our page so others can enjoy the beauty of Washington Parish through your lens. 📸❤️
