We are in a tremendous time of opportunity for young people to have jobs and careers, like never before. Sadly so many of our young parents won't be able to participate in this growth because childcare may not be available. It opens a door to go to school to train or to start an entry level job.  I've enjoyed being in a work group with legislators from around the country, focusing on early childhood care and education.

So proud to be a part of this great group of women in our legislature! We collected almost 1000 pair of undergarments for children who are victims of assault.

Thank you so much to The Louisiana Legislative Women's Caucus Foundation for donating much-needed undergarments for survivors that our advocates bring to the hospitals on callouts.
