Thank you to everyone who participated in the Grab-n-Go last night. We know you have choices for dinners and being chosen by you last night was heartwarming.

Thanks to the planners, preparers, cooks, set up team, cashiers, servers, and clean up team of the BVFD Auxiliary and for Chief Ogg and his team for their help and support. Great job and a yummy meal!!

The Berryville Volunteer Fire Department had one 11.75”x9.25” pan of chicken casserole left from today’s Grab-n-Go sale. It was cooked this afternoon and was ready for serving, but we did not need it, so we brought it home and placed it in the refrigerator.

It would make a great and quick “re-heat meal” for a family or could make several meals for a couple. The cost for the entire pan of chicken casserole is $40.00.

It is a great recipe, cheaper than eating out, and home cooked!

This month’s meal is a hearty portion of chicken casserole, a side salad, one cornbread muffin, and one small but tasty dessert — all for $15. The casserole is a new dish and very good!

I present to you the rewards of our smaller grant, the training aid grant. The first you see is the Forcible Entry door teaches, firefighters how to make entry into a locked house and different techniques for breaching the door. Then, you have Rescue Randy, He will be replacing a firefighter on training missions. And in the blue bag, you see, it's a complete set of for training mannequins along with infants and AED's so that we may start teaching the community CPR. With out this grant, this training equipment cost the Berryville Volunteer Fire Department $11,622.02. Thank you all who support us
