🍕🚔 BREAKING NEWS: FRANKTON PD LAUNCHES SPECIAL PIZZA INVESTIGATION! 🚔🍕

In honor of National Tavern-Style Pizza Day, the Frankton Police Department has assigned two of its finest officers to investigate a very serious matter… 🍕👮‍♂️

The case: A suspiciously delicious, thin-crust, square-cut pizza.

The suspects: Lieutenant Lamey and Officer Cox.

The evidence: Several missing slices of pizza.

The investigation: Ongoing… but sources say the evidence is disappearing at an alarming rate! 😂

When questioned, both officers reportedly stated, “We were just making sure it was safe for the public!” 👀

At this time, no arrests have been made, but several slices have been taken into custody. 🍕

Here at the Frankton Police Department, we're committed to PROTECTING AND SERVING… ONE SLICE AT A TIME! 🚔🍕

😠🚔 **HAPPY NATIONAL GROUCH DAY!** 🚔😠

Even at the Frankton Police Department, not everyone is full of sunshine and rainbows every day! 😂

Officer Thomas is just trying to make it through his shift, while Officer Wood is determined to spread a little happiness… whether Thomas likes it or not! ☕🍩

Rumor has it, someone told Thomas there was **"just one more call"** five minutes before his shift ended. We're still waiting for him to smile. 🤣

All jokes aside, our officers work hard every day to keep our community safe, but that doesn't mean we can't have a little fun along the way!

So today, if you run into someone who's a little extra grouchy, give them a smile, offer them some coffee, or just give them a little space! 😂

🎀 MAKE YOUR HEALTH A PRIORITY — YOU MATTER! 🎀

Life gets busy. Between work, raising families, taking care of loved ones, and handling everyday responsibilities, it's easy to put our own health at the bottom of the list.

We tell ourselves, "I'll make that appointment next week."

"I'm too busy right now."

"I feel fine, so there's probably nothing to worry about."

But here's something we want everyone to remember:

💗 Taking care of yourself isn't selfish. It's one of the most important things you can do for yourself and the people who love you.

Breast cancer doesn't always come with noticeable symptoms in its early stages. That's why regular screenings and conversations with your healthcare provider are so important.

🎀 A few important reminders:

💗 Don't put off your health. Talk with your healthcare provider about when you should begin breast cancer screening and how often you should be screened.

💗 Know what's normal for you. Pay attention to changes in your breasts, including new lumps, skin changes, or unusual ni**le discharge. Report any concerns to your healthcare provider.

💗 Know your family history. Understanding your family's history of breast cancer can help you and your doctor make informed decisions.

💗 Encourage someone you love. Sometimes a gentle reminder to schedule an appointment can make a meaningful difference.

💗 Remember that early detection matters. Mammograms can sometimes detect breast cancer before symptoms appear, when treatment may be more effective.

At the Frankton Police Department, we spend our days working to protect the safety and well-being of our community. But today, we're reminding you that protecting your health is just as important.

Your family needs you. Your friends love you. Your community values you. And your health matters. 🩷

You don't have to wait until something feels wrong to start taking care of yourself.

💙 NATIONAL STOP BULLYING DAY 💙

Today, the Frankton Police Department joins communities across the country in taking a stand against bullying!

Bullying isn't just a childhood issue. It can happen in schools, workplaces, online, and throughout our communities. Words and actions can leave lasting impacts, and everyone deserves to feel safe, respected, and valued.

👮‍♂️ Our message is simple: Bullying has no place in our community!

✅ Be Kind – A little kindness can make a BIG difference in someone's life.

✅ Stand Up – If you witness bullying, don't just stand by. Be part of the solution.

✅ Speak Out – If you or someone you know is being bullied, tell someone you trust. Asking for help is a sign of strength, not weakness.

✅ Include Others – Sometimes something as simple as inviting someone to sit with you or offering a friendly smile can change their entire day.

💬 To our students: You never know what someone else may be going through. Choose kindness, treat others with respect, and remember that being a leader means standing up for those who may not be able to stand up for themselves.

🚔 To our community: Let's lead by example. Our children are watching how we treat one another.

🚗 SCHOOL SAFETY WEDNESDAY: SEAT BELTS EVERY RIDE 🚗

Whether you're driving across town, heading to school, or just going a few blocks down the road, there's one thing everyone in the vehicle should do before the car moves: BUCKLE UP!

A short trip doesn't mean a safe trip. Crashes can happen anywhere, and wearing a seat belt is one of the simplest things we can do to protect ourselves and our children.

👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 PARENTS & STUDENTS — REMEMBER:

🔹 Buckle up every single ride. Front seat or back seat, long trip or short trip—it doesn't matter.

🔹 Don't start driving until everyone is buckled. Make it a family rule: The vehicle doesn't move until the seat belts click.

🔹 Wear your seat belt correctly. The lap belt should sit across the hips, and the shoulder belt should cross the chest—not behind your back or under your arm.

🔹 Set the example. Kids notice what adults do. When parents buckle up every time, children learn that it's simply part of riding in a vehicle.

🔹 Teen drivers—check your passengers. Before putting the vehicle in gear, make sure everyone riding with you is buckled.

🔹 Never share a seat belt. Every passenger needs their own properly fitted restraint.

🎒 Running late for school? Buckle up.
🏈 Heading to practice? Buckle up.
🍔 Going right down the street? Buckle up.
🏠 Almost home? Stay buckled.

It only takes a few seconds, and those few seconds could save a life.

We sent two of Frankton’s finest to investigate some fossils. The investigation took a turn when one of them said, “I remember when these things were still running around.” 😂

Around here, we don’t call them fossils. We call them EXPERIENCED. 👮‍♂️

All jokes aside, we’re grateful for the experience, dedication, and good humor these two bring to our department. 💙

🎀 BREAST CANCER AFFECTS MORE THAN ONE PERSON

When someone is diagnosed with breast cancer, the journey doesn't affect just one person. It touches an entire family, a circle of friends, and sometimes an entire community.

💗 It's the husband, wife, boyfriend, girlfriend who stays strong on the outside while quietly worrying about the future.

💗 It's the children who may not fully understand what's happening but know that something has changed.

💗 It's the parents who wish they could take away their child's pain.

💗 It's the friends who show up with a warm meal, offer a ride to treatment, or simply sit beside someone when words aren't enough.

💗 It's the caregivers who put their own worries aside to make sure their loved one never feels alone.

Cancer may affect one person's body, but its emotional impact reaches far beyond the diagnosis.

Here at the Frankton Police Department, we recognize not only the incredible strength of those battling breast cancer but also the families, friends, and caregivers who stand beside them every step of the way.

To those currently fighting: You are not alone. 💕

To the families and caregivers: Your strength, sacrifices, and unconditional love do not go unnoticed.

And to those who have lost someone to breast cancer: Their memory and the love you shared will always matter. 🩷

Our officers may have taken the assignment a little too literally. Don’t worry, their next stop is stretching and probably an ice pack.

Behind every pink ribbon is a story.

A story of a mother fighting to watch her children grow up. A grandmother hoping for more time with her grandchildren. A wife, sister, daughter, friend, or neighbor facing a battle they never expected.

Some stories are about survival. Others are about courage, heartbreak, and the loved ones we hold close in our memories.

Breast cancer is more than a diagnosis. It affects families, changes lives, and reminds us just how precious every moment truly is.

Here at the Frankton Police Department, we want everyone affected by breast cancer to know that you are seen, you are valued, and you are not alone. 💕

Our officers spend plenty of time chasing down leads, but today, they're apparently chasing each other! 🤣

We're not saying things got competitive around the department, but let's just say someone may have called for backup after being tagged! 🚨😂
