The summer has flown by! With Compassion's new location in Fraser, we are more visible to the public and have seen an increase in client traffic, and sadly, also an increase in the range and amount of services needed. We are grateful for our incredible donors and volunteers for helping us continue to accommodate and serve our precious clients. 🙏

Compassion had many amazing private donors in August, as well as generous donations from Holy Cross Lutheran Church- Senior Ministry, Impact Church, Knights of Columbus Charitable Fund, Knights of Pythias- Detroit Lodge #55, and the Mt. Zion Lutheran Church Charitable Fund. Thank you, all, for helping us love and support moms, dads and babies in our community. 💚

On Women's Equality Day, we celebrate the suffragists who forged the way for the certification of the 19th Amendment in 1920- rightfully earning women the right to vote.

That said, we must continue to work towards changing hearts and minds to earn equality for ALL, as true equal rights should include protection from the very start of one's life within the womb, and therefore having the RIGHT to BE BORN. 💚
