Due to weather pool will not open at 12 on 8/30. We will reevaluate for possible opening at 4.

This is our schedule for the remainder of the swimming season. Sunday 9/13 will be our last day that we will be open. At closing time, we will start storing the chairs and tables for the winter along with other end of year tasks. We would be grateful to anyone who would like to assist. The Somerset Swim Club board would like to thank everyone for another swimming season. We know some of you are already counting down the days for next year.

Due to weather improvements the pool is now open. Reminder on 8/24 we start to close at 8pm.

Starting 8/17/2026, the pool will close at 8:30. Also, new members may purchase a membership for next season and swim for the remainder of this year. Thank you to everyone who participated in our events on Saturday—we had a wonderful day.

Our treatment process is working, though it is taking some time due to the pool holding approximately 160,000 gallons of water. The green color is mostly gone, but the water remains slightly cloudy. We will continue treating and monitoring the pool until conditions improve. We will open at noon on 8/13/2026.

Pool is closing at 2:30pm on 8/10/2026 for shock treatment.

Our team of volunteers and lifeguards are working diligently to restore the pool water to clear. The chemical report is posted under the pool rules. Despite the look of the water, it tests safe. On 7/39/26 the pool was fed a heavy load of chlorinated shock due to f***l matter in the shallow end. The extra chlorine was required to remove bacteria. Unfortunately, this required treatment resulted in cloudy water which eventually took on a green hue. Somerset will continue to work to resolve this issue. Thank you for your patience while our volunteers and guards continue to resolve the appearance of the pool water. Three different certified pool labs have stated the pool water is safe despite its appearance.
