Thursday saw the official ending of NHD-Nationals! These Bearcubs did great and we are so proud of them! They wrapped up their adventure with visiting the Holocaust Museum, the Natural History Museum and going down to the Wharf for dinner.

Wednesday was another jam packed day! There was a quick trip to the National Art Gallery, a slightly longer visit to the National Archives, a quick stop at the National American Indian Museum, Library of Congress, and the Museum of American History, with a bit of Cheesecake to end the night. Tuesday was jam packed with so many different activities! The day started with Elli and Kat having their Nationals Interview!!! Then, after lunch we journeyed into the city to check out the Monuments and Memorials. After that, we traveled over to the Nationals’ stadium to see the Washington DC Nationals play against the Kansas City Royals. Today was a special jersey give-away of the Homestead Grays, which was a team of the Negro League on the early to mid-1900s. History was learned all day today!

Frazer school will not be having summer school tomorrow due to technology difficulties in the building. We will be serving lunch and breakfast from 12:00-1:30. You may come pick up lunch and breakfast at that time. We apologize for any inconveniences for the families in the community.

Mi’Yoni and Londyn did their interview and fell so good about it! After that we journeyed to the Wharf and International Spy Museum. It was highly interactive with the bonus of students being a spy and having a mission! Great fun was had. The night wrapped up with a dance and now rest for the high schoolers competing tomorrow!

Second day in DC. Bearcubs set up their exhibits, traveled around Arlington Cemetery, and visited the Pentagon City Mall before the Opening Ceremony. It was a long day and everyone got their steps in. On Monday Londyn and Mi’Yoni have their interviews, wish them luck!
