The Oct. 6 Free Soup Supper was sponsored by the Frederic County Road W Homemakers at the Center last week. They served seventy with six soup choices, french bread and not enough desserts, sorry. Thank you to the soup lovers who donated $229 for Trevor Otto and the Coats for Kids non-profit. Their winter gear giveaway was last Saturday morning at St Luke’s Methodist Church; the parking lot was packed at 8 am.

Soup lovers from ages 2 to 92 enjoyed bowls of soup, crackers, bread, cherry bars, brownies, peanut butter bars and cookies at Free Soup at the Center on the first Tuesday of the month. Lively conversation filled the room.
