Our Lorain Volunteer Fire Department would like to thank everyone who supported us during our 2024 buck a rama. We hit a milestone and it was the best year we have had and couldn't have done it without all you wonderful people. It will help pay for our new fire dept and many items that are needed to help serve our community. Again we could do it without all you supporting us.

Luck firemen purchased the car for Chief Tony Carter, the car needed major repairs so instead of a parade vehicle they auctioned it off as a fundraiser item. Chief Brian Daeffler of Frederic Fire won the door on high bid and brought the door to Frederic FD, Frederic auctioned the door of at their annual fundraiser and the high bidder Emily Henquist won the door and donated to the Lorain FD. Lorain Fire auctioned it off for an amazing $3000.00 to the high bidder...Chief Alec Adams of Apple River Fire. The Lorain Fire Chief Matt Ennis proudly handed the door over to the Apple River FD. The intention is to have Apple River auction the door at their annual fundraiser and hopes that it will get donated to another FD and hopefully keep the tradition moving the door the many Fire Departments across our County and State.
On behalf of the Lorain Fire Department, Chief Matt Ennis wants to Thank all of the great supporters of the Buckarama and the Lorain Fire Department.

Well it's that time of year again. Buck a rama is Friday night. We have lots of nice prizes, 50" Smart TV's, Tower heaters, stands, smoker, snow shoes, lots of guns. Plus many many other things.

Please park in the parking area or the overflow, leave back door parking for the fire dept members that are working and the food staff please.

Our 24th year of buck a rama is coming up Oct 18th, 2024. We've added some new things this year again so hoping everyone will enjoy the stuff we got. There are 3-50" smart TVs, garman vexlars, tower heaters, black Stone grill, smoker, snow shoes just some of what we have. Plus much much more

We would like to thank everyone who attended our 21st buck a rama. Also all the firemen and wifes who work that night. It was another successful year. One of our best so far and we couldn't have done it without everyone's help and support. Thanks to Mitch and Kelsey for the use of the pavilion and everything else. Also to everyone who donated prizes, money, ect.

Our thoughts go out to Kenny & Bonnie Chenal on the loss of their home this morning.
