This poor puppy has been running around Frederic for several days. Very skittish, skinny and can't get close and it will run. Does anyone know it's story? We set up a feeding station to live trap her please don't chase her onto highway. We want her to stay in same area. Owner found tonight, thank you all who helped.

Hello Community, we have heard of multiple complaints of kiddos jumping out in front of Amish Horses and riding dirt bikes right next to them and scaryung the horses. Please teach the children don't do that to horses, give them space. It's dangerous and someone could get killed in this thick traffic on our side streets. Also our Amish Community having a wedding the first weekend in May so we will have their families going through town. Slow!!

Deputy Sheriff Allen Albee
End of Watch April 19, 1991

Thirty-four years ago, our community suffered a devastating loss. Deputy Sheriff Allen Albee, alongside officers from Polk and Burnett counties, engaged an armed individual in Webster, WI. Tragically, Albee made the ultimate sacrifice, giving his life to protect his community. We invite you to join us in paying tribute to Al's life and selfless service. His memory will never be forgotten.

A very good class the last couple days that Attorney Matt Dolan has been sharing with us. There is some very scary facts that contribute to why you can't find qualified people in our military or police. One scary fact is they can't pass the physical or written tests. They can't even do basic math, reading, comprehension, or writing. Also basic physical fitness.

Just posting a reminder keep your dogs on a leash when you are out walking them
We are receiving complaints of people walking their dogs around town or in the park not on a leash. One man told me he was bit because someone's dog came running up to his dog on a leash and they fought. Please use the dog park to let your dog run. Thank you! We don't want to have to write citations if we don't have to.
