Long-Time Farmer and 33rd District State Representative, Wally Caulk, Jr., Passes Away

Former State Representative and tireless advocate for Delaware farmers, Wally Caulk, passed away at the age of 85 on Tuesday (8/18).
During his 22-year tenure in the State House representing central Kent County, Wally Caulk was known for his plain-spoken nature, his independent streak, and his passion for upholding his district’s conservative values.
State Rep. Shannon Morris, together with the leaders of the House Republican Caucus and the Speaker of the House, sponsored a House of Representatives Memoriam commemorating his life of service.
Mr. Caulk will be fondly remembered for living his life with integrity and for his great devotion to his family.
The community knew him as a successful farmer and businessman.
He served as the 33rd District Delaware State Representative from 1984 to 2006 and served on many committees, including Agriculture; Health & Human Development; Transportation, Land Use, & Infrastructure; and Natural Resources & Environmental Management.
Mr. Caulk was a former Administrator of the Delaware Farm Bureau
and was greatly involved in various community organizations.
He truly cherished spending time with his loving family and many friends.
This beloved husband, brother, stepson, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, and friend will be dearly missed.

The Honorable G. Wallace Caulk, Jr.

Hello all,

We’re pleased to share that the team has been working diligently on the State Fair. The theme for this year is celebrating the 250th Birthday of our nation. We’re excited to feature “Meet and Greets” Scheduled appearances featuring local, legislative, and statewide Republican candidates. We will be promoting Direct dialogue opportunities. This will be vital for voters to discuss regional issues directly with the state and local candidates.

We will also have Commemorative Merch: Limited-edition buttons and lapel pins featuring our 250th theme. The team is working on Visual Appeal: Photo-op backdrops to drive organic social media sharing and youth engagement.

Our team has created a separate volunteer page. We’re asking for your help to promote this booth, share with your region and fill all the volunteer spots. Below are the QR Code and link to volunteer sign up
schedule for the Delaware GOP State Fair Booth.
