Dignity Therapy gives patients a meaningful way to express their concerns or share important messages with loved ones through the creation of a “legacy document.”
Hospice Chaplain Wes Parks says many patients find the process of reviewing and editing their legacy document therapeutic.

“Sometimes the process reminds them of the support and encouragement they’ve received from others throughout their lives, or gives them a sense of pride,” he shares. “I’ve also observed patients demonstrating a remarkable ability to offer forgiveness to others while working through deep-seated emotional wounds through the editing process.”

We are grateful to the Collective Church for choosing to beautify Kline House gardens and outdoor spaces for residents and their families to enjoy. Volunteers also assisted with installing bat boxes that provide safe habitats for bats, support local wildlife and help with natural pest control. The project was part of their annual summer week of giving back to the community.

Twisted Rodz is more than just a car club—it’s a community-driven passion project. From the start, Katie and Robert Gray designed it to give back. With no membership fees, members chip in to cover show expenses, so all proceeds from registration and raffles go directly to Frederick Health Hospice, honoring the care provided to a member’s wife. This year's benefit show raised an incredible $7,523.00! We are grateful to Twisted Rodz of Maryland for turning their love for cars into meaningful support hospice patients.
