Frederick County MD Farm Bureau Candidate Forum, which was held at The Great Frederick Fair grounds was a success. Frederick County voters came to hear candidates running for Election; County Executive, County Council, and Sheriff.
The room was bustling with conversation during the social networking.
Attendees wanted answers to top concerns of the County: data centers, powerlines, smartgrowth, infrastructure, police protection, and housing. Some folks running for State positions also came to network during the relaxed atmosphere before the panel discussion began.
Our MC - Sam Roop, kept everyone on task and respectful during the Q & A session.

🌾👩‍🌾 LITTLE FARMER & FARMERETTE CONTEST 👨‍🌾🌾

Join us on Wednesday, July 15, 2026, at Mt. Tabor Park for an evening of fun and farm pride!

🕠 Registration: 5:30 PM
🕕 Contest Begins: 6:00 PM

Open to children ages 3–10!

Eligibility Requirements:
✅ Contestants must have a parent or grandparent who is a current Frederick County Farm Bureau member.

Participants will be asked fun questions such as:
🐄 What is your favorite farm animal?
🚜 What do you like to do on the farm?
😊 Plus share your name, age, and sing a song!
