What looks like a simple sidewalk has made a world of difference for one Frederick County family.

When Candice connected with Habitat for Humanity's Home Repair program, she was looking for ways to make her home safer and more accessible for her daughter with special needs.

Together, we completed several critical repairs, including a tub-to-shower conversion, replacement windows, weatherproofing, a safer door configuration and a new sidewalk that creates a direct path from the home to the parking area.

For Candice's daughter, that path provides more than convenience. It supports familiar routines, reduces stress during daily transitions and offers a safer way to move between her home and the car.

Every family deserves a home that meets their needs. Through our Habitat Home Repair Program, we're helping Frederick County residents remain safe, independent and comfortable in the homes they love.

Habitat for Humanity of Frederick County would like to say THANK YOU to Rowan Digital Infrastructure for generously donating their suite at NYMEO Field at Harry Grove Stadium for a Frederick Keys game full of Father’s Day festivities. We are fortunate to have Rowan’s support as a founding member of our Carter Club Giving Society.

A few members of our Team were able to spend the afternoon at the game enjoying America’s favorite past time while celebrating some of the wonderful fathers in our Habitat family. It was a fun filled time and fabulous finish with a win by our beloved Frederick Keys. We hope all those who are dads and father figures in our community had a fantastic Father’s Day weekend! ⚾
