On June 3rd, the Women’s Giving Circle of Frederick awarded Team Hope with a $10,000 Grant to continue our mission to provide funding for any woman in Frederick County who is either underinsured or has no insurance at all and ineligible for care through the Frederick County Health Department. Team Hope provides clinical breast exam and follow-up care through our partnering physicians and any needed breast imaging, to include breast biopsy, to detect or confirm the absence of breast cancer. Team Hope has cared for more than 2200 women in Frederick County. This would not be possible without the support from friends, family, local businesses and organizations. Together…We Are Team Hope.

Wow what a night! Team Hope was honored to be a presenter last night at ImpactClub Frederick! It was a packed house and while we did not walk away with the big check, we were delighted to receive $2010 for our mission. It was the first time that Team Hope was a presenter and we look forward to the opportunity to return at a future event.

Team HOPE attended the women’s health resource fair at Hood College, providing information about our mission. Team HOPE provides funding for clinical breast exams and follow up care through our partnering physicians and any needed breast imaging to include breast biopsy through Community Radiology Associates, to any woman in Frederick County, who have no insurance and are ineligible for care through the Frederick County health department! On November 19th, Team Hope awarded $15,000.00 to Community Radiology Associates, our partner in the fight against breast cancer since 2011. Funding provided to Community Radiology covers the cost for any needed breast imaging to include breast biopsy for any woman in Frederick County who has no insurance and is ineligible for care through the Frederick County Health Department. We are so very fortunate to have such a wonderful partnership with Community Radiology Associates. Together, we have cared for more than 1900 women in Frederick County.
