Proud to be recognized by Healthier Colorado for my work in the Healthy Communities category. In the Colorado House, I’ve focused on expanding health care access, supporting families, and building healthier communities across HD19. Healthy Coloradans are the foundation of strong families, thriving businesses, and vibrant neighborhoods. I’ll continue fighting for practical solutions that put patients and families first. Thank you to Healthier Colorado for the recognition and to my constituents for your trust.

Happy Father’s Day to the dads who show up every single day.
Beginning in the 1980s, a clear narrative took hold in entertainment that portrayed fathers as bumbling imbeciles to be laughed at and mocked. From shows like Married with Children to books like The Berenstain Bears (which I loved as a kid) and countless others that followed, Dad became the punchline week after week.
But that was never the full story.
In real life, across kitchens, job sites, ball fields, and quiet living rooms, fathers have continued to be sources of quiet strength. They work hard, make sacrifices, teach by example, and love their children fiercely. They are the steady presence who help shape character, resilience, and values that last a lifetime.
To every father reading this: You should be proud of the influence you have on your children. The way you carry yourself, the way you treat others, the way you keep going when things are hard, it all matters more than you may ever know. Your strength is not loud, but it is lasting.
Today we celebrate you, not the cartoon version of dad, but the real one. The one who shows up. The one who leads with love. The one whose greatest legacy is the children he’s helping raise.
Thank you for being that kind of father.
Happy Father’s Day.

Happy Flag Day, HD19! 🇺🇸

Today we honor Old Glory and the ideals of liberty and freedom it stands for. Grateful to serve Weld and Boulder County. Big thanks to our veterans and first responders who defend it every day.
Fly it high in northern Colorado! How are you celebrating?

On this D-Day anniversary, we honor the courage of the Greatest Generation. 82 years ago today, thousands of Allied heroes stormed the beaches of Normandy to fight tyranny and secure our freedoms.
My grandfather served aboard the destroyer USS Jeffers (DD-621), providing fire support off Utah Beach. Like so many others, he answered the call and helped turn the tide of history.
Their sacrifice and resolve still inspire us today. As we face new threats to freedom, we are reminded that freedom isn’t free, and we remain deeply grateful for all who continue to defend our liberties at home and abroad.
Thank you to every hero who served on D-Day and beyond. We remember. We honor. We owe you everything.

This commercial always cracks me up, it instantly reminds me of driving on State Highway 52. This morning on the way to the gym, I hit a massive pothole so hard I thought I blew a tire. Let’s just say a few choice words were said as my truck bounced out of it. This has to stop. Colorado roads just received a D+ rating, and it shows every single day.
Fixing roads like Highway 52 will be a top priority in my next term as your HD 19 representative.
What are the worst roads in HD 19 right now? Drop them in the comments below, I want to hear from you.

I was honored to join a panel discussion with Rocky Mountain PBS on the State of Aviation in Colorado. We explored the sector’s massive economic impact, generating $69 billion in revenue for Colorado in 2025, along with the need to excite and train the next generation of talent. With the industry continuing to grow, there are incredible career opportunities ahead for our youth. Looking forward to keeping the conversation going. The future of flight is bright!
