Drop boxes are a perfect way to send your mail in ballot back to us securely. We have 12 locations around Frederick County with 24-hour surveillance. They’re open until 8:00pm on June 23rd so make sure your ballot is put into a drop box before then to ensure it’s counted! Requested a Mail-in Ballot but changed your mind and want to vote in person?

No worries — you can still cancel your mail-in request, but you’ll need to act fast!
✔ Get the form at https://www.frederickcountymd.gov/DocumentCenter/View/373105
✔ Put it back in the mail right away, or bring it by our office.

Deadline: Your request must be RECEIVED by our office June 18.

If your cancellation request doesn’t reach us in time, you can still vote a provisional ballot at your polling place on Election Day, Tuesday, June 23.



Voting provisionally allows the Board of Elections to verify that you haven’t returned any other ballot before counting your provisional ballot.
