CBAI and associates is currently seeking a Technical Writer in Albany, GA to provide program support to MARCORLOGCOM. The Technical Writer will draft, edit, forward for review, and subsequently maintain a variety of program technical documents.
Responsibilities
•Draft and edit work flows, work instructions, SOPs, user guides, desk-side references, meeting agendas and minutes, performance reports, staff action papers, programs of instruction, quick start documents and checklists, status reports, master event calendars, communication plans, implementation plans, decision support documents, and technical studies.
•Work closely with applicable Command stakeholders to understand document requirements, gather and assess reference material, develop initial document drafts, conduct technical review for clarity, accuracy, and fullness of details.
•Develop document or report covers, table of contents, classification portion markings, text, graphics, tables, and appendices.
•Coordinate information, submit initial drafts, gather and incorporate feedback, update and submit for final review and approval.
•Maintain a document library on the SharePoint Site for access and retrieval.
Qualifications
•Bachelor's Degree in related area preferred.
•Three or more years of Technical Writing experience required, support on DoD programs preferred.
•Strong process documentation, editing, formatting, and knowledge management skills required.
•Must be able to obtain and maintain a government Secret Clearance
