In the early 2000's, Deborah and I opened 2 restaurants in Crockett and The Woodlands, Tx.; Benton's Bistro - New Orleans Creole & Italian. I created all recipes and we were blessed with 3 writeups in Texas Highways Magazine, as some of the best New Orleans cuisine in the state of Texas. After selling the restaurants, I worked with Goodwill Industries in training management personnel and opening n
ew stores, of which the 3 stores were of the top grossing locations in the Houston area. While developing our line of nutritional supplements, we launched our manufacturing company, Prescribed For Life (PFL) and soon relocated to Fredericksburg. After 3 years we opened Biogenic Foods, which distributed the supplement line. We sold PFL and are now solely concentrating on our supplement business. We were also blessed with the opportunity to have 3 of our 10 grandchildren live with us and they have graduated from FISD. After the passing of Deborah's father, it was necessary for her mother to move in with us and to care for her. Now that the kids have graduated and I am working part-time, we have decided to get involved in our community by becoming a Candidate for our Precinct 10 Chair, in hopes to help support the building of our conservative votes and protecting the voter integrity of our county. We are eager to serve and represent our God given values!
