Join us for the next Art Social: Creative Conversations on May 6 at 6:00pm

This is a chance for Fredericksburg’s artists, makers, and creators to socialize, network, share, and learn as a community. The Fredericksburg Arts Commission is hosting this free event for artists, students, arts educators, the art-adjacent, and the art-curious. No matter your discipline or experience level, you’re invited.

The evening will include a panel discussion about growing as an artist — both personally and professionally. There will be lotsa opportunity for Q&A and talking with the panelists afterward.

Panelists include:
• Larry Hinkle, furniture maker, musician, and UMW Art Department faculty member
• Joan Limbrick, painter, ceramist, and children’s book author and illustrator
• Scarlett Pons, professional potter, co-owner of Ponshop Studio, and online seller

The panel will be followed by ample time for socializing, meeting your fellow creatives, and perhaps even finding future collaborators. The event is free and no sign-up is required.
