Happy Move-In Day! This is one of my favorite bulletin boards completed by a former RA of Virginia Hall. Under each letter the RA provided amazing tips around consent. Special shout out and THANK YOU to (and their volunteers) for welcoming in our newest Eagles. 💙🤍🦅
[Swipe for Resources and Support on and off campus.] Today would have marked our 5th Annual kNOw MORE Resource Fair. It was your annual chance to say NO MORE to gender-based violence while getting to KNOW MORE about campus and community resources for survivors, advocates, and allies. Oh and build your very own ice cream sundae in the process!🍦🦅🍦🦅🍦. I tagged our partners with Instagram below and on their resource page if you swipe. @ University of Mary Washington

“April is Sexual Assault Awareness Month(SAAM). The goal of SAAM is for individuals and organizations to raise public awareness about s*xual harassment, assault, and abuse and educate communities on how to prevent it.” -NSVRC
Thank you to everyone who helped with the planning of Sexual Assault Awareness Month. We had 16+ events planned for our Mary Washington community. Due to COVID-19 those programs were either postponed until next academic year or adapted for a virtual program. The Center for Prevention and Education invites you to stay tuned… more information will be shared tomorrow as we virtually celebrate Sexual Assault Awareness Month (SAAM).
