POSITION AVAILABLE

The City of Fredericktown is accepting applications for the position of “Laborer” in the Sanitation Department. Duties will include assisting in the day-to-day collection of refuse. Hours required will be 7:00 AM to 4:00, Monday through Friday. Some additional duties will include operating a loader, some automotive equipment, and related work as assigned. Position requires the individual to possess or obtain a “B” commercial driver’s license within 6 months of hiring. Position is full-time, 40 hours per week and includes a full benefit package. Notice of Project

The City of Fredericktown, Missouri is requesting proposals for services to complete a lead service line inventory. The full scope of required services and proposal requirements are available at Fredericktown City Hall located at 124 W. Main St., Fredericktown, MO 63645, can be requested via email from Deputy Clerk, Ashley Baudendistel at [email protected] or located online at https://dnr.mo.gov/water/what-were-doing/state-revolving-fund-srf/project-bid-opportunities. All proposals must be mailed to and received at Fredericktown City Hall located at 124 W. Main St., Fredericktown, MO 63645 until 10:00 a.m. (local time) on the 1st day of December, 2023. Late proposals will not be considered. Electronic proposals will not be considered. Proposals must be sealed and clearly labeled with the entity’s name and address on the outside of the envelope. Conditional proposals will not be accepted. Proposals will be opened and read publicly on December 1, 2023 at 10:00 a.m. (local time).

This project is being financed through the Missouri State Revolving Fund, by the Water and Wastewater Loan Revolving Fund and federal Capitalization Grants to Missouri.

Bidders on this work will be required to comply with the President's Executive Order Number 11246. Requirements for bidders and contractors under this order are further explained at the link provided below. NOTICE OF VACANCY

The City of Fredericktown is accepting applications for the position of “Laborer” in the Public Works Department with emphasis on the Parks Department. Duties will include general laborer duties including mowing, w**d eating, ballfield/soccer field preparation, general park maintenance and any other day-to-day duties as assigned in other Public Works Departments. Position requires a high school diploma/GED and to have or obtain a “B” commercial driver’s license within six (6) months of hiring. Position is full-time, 40 hours per week with benefits. Some overtime may be required. Applications can be obtained at City Hall, 124 West Main, Fredericktown. Applications will be accepted until the position is filled. E.O.E.
