With the severe weather forecast for tomorrow evening, we want to assure you that we are monitoring the predictions of both severity and timing, and we may make adjustments to dismissal and after-school activities as necessary. We will communicate any changes to the normal schedule through the district page and Remind text messaging.

We would also like to remind you that the Fredericktown R-I School District has two FEMA shelters available for community use in the event of a tornado warning. Please be aware of the difference between a watch and a warning, and stay alert throughout the evening to know when to seek shelter. Stay aware - stay safe!

As we wrap up our celebration of Read Across America Week, we want to keep the celebration going by inviting our families to Read Across Fredericktown! We're encouraging students and their families to participate in a reading scavenger hunt throughout our town, leading up to Missouri Read-in Day on Friday.

Follow the clues on the card to a location in Fredericktown where a passage from a story will be located. Read the passage and record the answer to the question on this bingo board. When you get a bingo, bring this card to your school's library by March 13 for a small prize.
