Fredericktown Community Fire District

Fredericktown Community Fire District Thank you for visiting the Fredericktown Community Fire District. We are funded through (2) 1 mil property tax levies.

We serve our district from two firehouses, one in Fredericktown and the other in Pike Township. Our district has a representative from every township that we serve, along with Fredericktown that sits on the executive board. In addition to these funds we apply and yearly receive training grants from the State of Ohio to send our members through not only their initial 36-hour training, but a variety

of other courses. Our station houses two engines, rescue, tanker, two brush trucks, firefighting ATV, technical rescue trailer, towable generator, and a dive rescue boat.

The regular board meeting scheduled for Wednesday, September 9th has been moved up to Wednesday, September 2nd at 7:00pm. This adjustment has been made in consideration for the start of the Fredericktown Tomato Show.

This afternoon at approximately 12:32 PM FCFD and our partners at Fredericktown EMS were dispatched on report of a motor vehicle incident. Our daytime staffing along with an additional 9 volunteers responded to the scene. Due to the severity of the incident mutual aid was requested and provided by Mount Vernon Fire Department and Jefferson Township Fire.

Multiple vehicle occupants required extrication, and crews remained on scene for an extended period to aid law enforcement in their investigation. Multiple vehicle occupants were transported from the scene to area hospitals.

Our condolences go out to the families of those affected by this tragedy.

National Night Out
