At approximately 1:20 p.m. CT, a nationwide emergency alert test will take place on cell phones, wireless devices, radios and TVs. Here's what to expect:

➡️ During this time, WEA-compatible wireless phones that are switched on, within range of an active cell tower, and whose wireless provider participates in WEA, should receive the test message.
➡️ For consumers, the message that appears on their phones will read: "THIS IS A TEST of the National Wireless Emergency Alert System. No action is needed."
➡️ All major U.S. wireless providers participate and will transmit the national test. All wireless phones should receive the message only once.

Congratulations on your Retirement Captain Gregory!

A local law enforcement veteran who’s spent nearly three decades with the Missouri State Highway Patrol put that uniform on for the last time on Thursday, July 27.

07/17/2023

Last week was extremely busy so we’re a little late on getting this added to our social media, but if you’re a member you should already be aware!

Here is the joint release from the Missouri chapters of APCO, NENA and the Missouri 911 Directors Association regarding the signing of SB24 and what that means for reclassification in Missouri.

Thank you to all who were active in the advocacy for this legislation. Your involvement has made a difference! We will have more information on what this means during our chapter meeting in September.

Congratulations! Keep being a positive reflection on our profession and solidify for all pessimists out there that this reclassification is warranted and the correct decision!
