Summer Bathroom Updates 🚻✨

Over the summer, our District updated a variety of bathrooms at both the elementary and high school. Many of these spaces were original to the buildings and dated back to the 1960's!

The updates included:
• Plumbing upgrades
• Epoxy flooring
• Updated ceiling grids and lighting
• Fresh paint
• New bathroom stalls

We’re excited to provide our students and staff with refreshed, more functional spaces as we continue investing in our schools. Take a look at a few examples of the updated bathrooms!

🚨 Fire Alarm System Update! 🚨

It’s exciting to see the progress being made on our new fire alarm system throughout the Northern Ozaukee School District! Here are a few recent pictures showing the work underway. 📸

🔥 New Fire Alarm System Progress:
• Original fire alarm system panels are being replaced throughout the District. The systems at OHS and OES were originally installed in the mid-1960s!
• New horns, strobes, smoke detectors, and pull stations have been installed throughout the entire campus.
• The project is on time and on budget, with anticipated completion in mid-August!

We’re excited to continue investing in the safety, security, and facilities of our students and staff. Thank you to everyone working behind the scenes to make this important project possible! 💙💛

Summer may be a break from the classroom, but it's one of the busiest times of the year at Northern Ozaukee School District!

Our dedicated staff, contractors, and many generous donors are working together to complete several exciting projects that will enhance our schools and facilities for students, staff, and the community.

✅ Project 1: New OHS Gym Bleachers
✅ Project 2: Updated Bathrooms Throughout the District
✅ Project 3: New Fire Alarm System
✅ Project 4: Track & Field Improvements
✅ Project 5: New Maintenance, Concessions & Outdoor Restroom Facility

These investments are helping create safer, more functional, and welcoming spaces for everyone who uses our facilities.

Track & Field Project Update

Exciting progress continues on the Northern Ozaukee School District Track & Field project, and we're happy to report that construction remains on schedule! Here's a look at what's been accomplished so far this summer:

✅ Storm sewer installation is complete
✅ The old track has been milled and is being prepared with a new gravel base for the asphalt track
✅ A concrete ring drain has been installed around the interior of the track to improve drainage for both the football field and track
✅ Installation of the field event areas is now underway

We also want to extend our sincere gratitude to the Charter Manufacturing Company Foundation for their incredibly generous $100,000 contribution to this project. Their support has already made a lasting impact, helping fund the installation of our new scoreboard and sound system in the summer of 2025.

Thank you to everyone helping bring this exciting project to life. We can't wait to see our students, athletes, and community enjoying these upgraded facilities in the near future!
