It’s that time of year again!☀️ The Fredonia-Pomfret Recreation Department will be holding sign ups for our summer program on Thursday, June 25th from 5:30pm-7:30pm and Saturday, June 27th from 9am-11am.

Our summer program will be running from June 29th through July 31st! Hope to see you all there!☀️

Good Morning!! ☀️ I hope everyone is having a great spring! This is just a reminder that the Fredonia-Pomfret Recreation Department is looking for summer help- playground counselors, drama instructors, nature and lifeguards. Summer recreation will take place from June 29th through July 31st, 2025. All interested should go to www.chautauquacountyny.gov, www,.villageoffredoniany.gov or stop by the first floor of Village for an application. Please turn into Village Hall First Floor Water Department by May 1st. Thank you!

Happy Friday Everyone! 🎄 just a quick reminder that we are accepting letters to Santa at the Fredonia Post Office. We are asking to have all letters in by Thursday December 18th to allow enough time for all of Santa’s magical responses to make it back to the kids in time for Christmas! 🎄

✨🎅🏻Santa’s First Pick-Up of the Season! 🎅🏻✨

Our first round of Santa letters has officially been picked up and is already on its merry way to the North Pole! 📨❄️ The elves are gearing up, Santa’s reading glasses are polished, and the Christmas magic is in full swing!

If your little ones and believers of ALL ages still want to send their wishes to Santa, there’s plenty of time! ❤️💌

You can drop off letters at the Fredonia Post Office from now until mid-December in our wonderful red Santa mailbox—the one that’s bursting with Christmas cheer! 🎄📬

Let the holiday magic begin! ✨🎁

I know that Thanksgiving is right around the corner and we do not want to overshadow another wonderful holiday but… 🎅🏻📬 but a quick reminder that it’s officially time to start gathering those Santa letters!

If your little ones are already dreaming up wish lists, drawing pictures, or writing special notes for the big guy in red, now is the perfect time to bring them in. ✨

We’ll make sure every letter is collected with care and sent straight to the North Pole. Feel free to drop them off at the Fredonia Post Office now through mid December! Seeing the excitement and creativity from your kiddos is one of our favorite parts of the season! ❤️

📢 Holiday Decorating Update: POSTPONED! 🌧️ Due to the continuing forecast for inclement weather, we have made the decision to postpone the "Yule Catch the Spirit" Holiday Decorating event.

The new date is:

🗓️ Saturday, November 22nd at 12:00 PM

We appreciate your flexibility and understanding! We look forward to seeing you all next Saturday to help us decorate downtown! If you know anyone planning to come, please pass along this rescheduling.
