Today is a time to honor, remember, and thank the men and women who have served and sacrificed for our country.

A reminder that Memorial Day services will take place at the “Square” Park in the center of town beginning at 9:00 AM. Hope you can join as we come together to pay tribute to our heroes.

The Freeburg Police Department PBPA Unit 157 online store will be closing tomorrow, 5/15, morning at 8:00 a.m. Please get those last-minute orders in before the store closes.

The Freeburg Police Department PBPA Unit 157 has launched an online store in support of their K9 Unit and K9 Robi.

We invite you to check out the store and place an order through United Ink in Belleville, IL using the link provided. The store will remain open until May 15th, 2026 at 8:00 a.m.

After the store closes, all orders will be processed and shipped unless an opt out is made for shipping. Then items will be delivered to the Freeburg Police Department. A follow-up announcement will be made for those orders that are ready for pickup.

Siren testing will start today throughout St Clair County on the County Wide Siren System due to the issues during most recent Tornado Warnings. Freeburg will be towards the front of the list. It is believed testing for Freeburg's sirens will start today. There may be testing throughout the week. They will not perform work around times where Severe Weather is possible to avoid confusion.
