New planter cuts our planting time down by leaps and bounds! Bryson planted his stacker pumpkin seeds for the fall!!

Uncovered a few plants today. Still a couple that haven’t outgrown their hoop house, so we’ll leave them be until it’s time. Definitely getting bigger.

There were two separate plants in each hoop house. Once they begin to grow, we have to choose the best of the two and pull the one that doesn’t make the cut. We are down to our five main plants. Here’s to hoping for a better year than last year with some great giants that we can take to competition.

10 days ago we had a little trouble. One of our small hoop houses got moved by the strong winds and killed one of our plants. We are lucky that another local grower had some extra plants and gave us a couple.  Thank you, Mr. Wolf for helping us out. We appreciate it!

Giant pumpkin plants are in the ground after much preparation. Now if the weather will cooperate and give these babies some sunlight and warmer temps!!
