Freedom Food Pantry Freedom Food Pantry is a 501(c)3 organization Freedom Food Pantry serves about 45 families on each 1st and 3rd week of the month.

Freedom Food Pantry is a private organization created to provide food needs at no cost to those individuals and families in the Freedom WI area who find themselves economically distressed. Even with generous community support and food donations, Freedom Food Pantry still has to purchase essential items to keep the shelves stocked. In the past, the Annual Postal Food Drive has provided our Pantry with nearly 60% of food that filled our shelves. In 2026, this was cut by more than half. Pulling ourselves up by the bootstraps, we are kicking off summer with robust plans to restock the pantry shelves and further our mission to address food insecurity in our community. Please watch for and consider participating in any of these opportunities to support the Freedom Food Pantry. With gratitude.

Tomorrow, Thursday, The Food Pantry is NOT open for distribution. May started our new service days and hours. We are open Friday, May 22nd, 2:30 - 5:30. Moving forward, we will continue to serve our clients on the FIRST and THIRD FRIDAYS of the month.

The Freedom Food Pantry will be hosting an informational meeting to discuss the future of the pantry, including the possibility of relocation.

We are inviting community members to attend and learn more about the current needs of the pantry, its long-term sustainability goals, and the impact it has on individuals and families experiencing food insecurity within the communities we serve.

This meeting will provide an opportunity volunteer and engage to:
*Form a Future of the Pantry Committee (post-meeting, include community members, business owners, developers, town board members)
*Develop a shortlist of viable properties
*Engage local partners (businesses, municipality, landowners, donors)
*Create a funding strategy to include Grants – who can write these?
Community fundraising campaign - who can lead this?
Business sponsorships - Who is willing and able to champion this noteworthy cause?

A special shout out goes to all friends and neighbors who donated to the US Postal Workers "Stamp out Hunger" Food Drive! We also want to thank our selfless volunteers who sorted, loaded, unloaded, and re-sorted almost #4,900 lbs of food. We are humbled to partner with the community to help the underserved.
And to all the Postal Workers who picked up bags of food, mailbox to mailbox, THANK YOU!
