It is with deep regret and a heavy heart that Chief Dana Cullen Jr and the Center Ossipee Fire Department announce the sudden passing of 40+ year member and former Deputy Chief Dana Cullen Sr.

Dana Cullen Sr was also a former member of the Effingham Fire Department.

Chief Dana Cullen Jr, along with the officers and members of COFD would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to our mutual aid partners who all came together on a moments notice to provide a firematic procession es**rt from Center Ossipee to Lord Funeral Home in Wolfeboro. Special thanks to Effingham Chief JT Harmon, who along with COFD Captain Quigley, coordinated the firematic procession and arrival at the Funeral home. Thanks to all of the members of the West Ossipee, Ossipee Corner, Freedom, Effingham, Tuftonboro, and Wolfeboro fire departments, and Action Ambulance, who turned out to honor Dana Cullen Sr during his transfer to the funeral home.
Thanks also to West Ossipee FD and Wakefield FD for providing coverage and Ossipee PD for their assistance. Thanks to Wolfeboro FD for the flag arch.
