Stand for Real Progress — Vote for Freehold Boro’s Future

Freehold Borough has come such a long way — thanks to the dedication, collaboration, and shared vision of people who truly care about this town. Over the past few weeks, we’ve talked a lot about the issues that shape our schools, streets, and neighborhoods. Now it’s time to turn those conversations into action.

Real, meaningful change doesn’t happen overnight. It takes patience, vision, and a willingness to try new things. Today, your vote can help keep that progress moving forward — or risk taking a step backward. Every ballot makes a difference in the kind of future we want for our town.

Your voice matters, and so does your vote. Make your plan and get to the polls — and if anyone needs a ride, just call 732-618-8441.

Together, we can keep building a Freehold Borough we’re all proud to call home. Vote today.

“In Their Own Words”
(A Question & Answer Series)

Question #3: Where do you vision Freehold Borough becoming in the next 3 years?

“I foresee Freehold Borough expanding our vibrant, mixed-use downtown with significant residential and commercial growth over the next three years. We have a number of major redevelopment projects in the works, like the Hometown Development and those along Park Avenue and in the Freehold Center Core, which are expected to introduce new residential units, some with affordable housing, and new retail and office spaces. At the same time, the Borough is focused on improving our infrastructure and parks, with planned road work and park upgrades to enhance walkability, community space, and overall quality of life. Our goal, as always, is to make Freehold Borough a shining star on the map of New Jersey.” - Adam Reich

(A Question & Answer Series)

Question #2: What do you think the biggest challenges are for the next 3 years in Freehold Borough?

“Over the next three years, our biggest goals are keeping Freehold Borough affordable and safe for everyone. We’re focused on creating new sources of revenue to ease the tax burden while preserving the family-friendly charm that makes our town special. Smart redevelopment, new businesses, and responsible planning will help us grow without losing our heart.

Safety is just as important. We’ve strengthened ordinances to reduce overcrowding, improved parking requirements, and are using grants to make our streets safer for pedestrians, drivers, and cyclists. Through community policing and traffic improvements, we’re building a town where people feel secure, connected, and proud to call Freehold home.” - Margaret Rogers

“In Their Own Words”
(A Question & Answer Series)

Question #2: What do you think the biggest challenges are for the next 3 years in Freehold Borough?

“I feel that there are three areas that we need to focus on as a governing body. They are civic involvement (there’s a core group of volunteers in our town and I would love to see more people participate from more/different walks of life), rising taxes and cost of living (this is an ever-present issue and it’s major issue we’re combatting through a major grant writing campaign as well as keeping a careful watch on our budget with our finance committee and finance department), and ensuring we take a careful approach to smart development (creative funding, informed space planning and design, and working closely with developers throughout the entire process) that honors our history while keeping us prevalent and moving forward into the future.” - Adam Reich

“In Their Own Words”
(A Question & Answer Series)

Question #1: What do you love most about Freehold Borough?

“My husband Dwight and I moved to Freehold in 1992, looking for a close-knit, family-friendly town that felt like home. We found exactly that and decided to build our lives here. More than thirty years later—with three kids and four grandkids—Freehold has grown, but its welcoming spirit remains the same. I love its diversity, compassion, and community pride, from downtown festivals and family events like Spooktacular to my favorite, the Memorial Day Parade. Through my years with the PTO, the Board of Education, and now on Town Council, I’ve seen how our community shows up for one another, especially during tough times like COVID. Freehold’s strength has always been its people—and together, we keep it a fun, safe, and vibrant place to call home.” - Margaret Rogers
