We are so excited to announce that The Clock has been restored and is being reinstalled at this very moment. Is Jim LaPointe Father Christmas? He might be... he is performing a miracle!

If you are curious about the history of the clock or restoration process, check out the article in the attached pictures.

Big thanks to LaPointe Construction, LLC for so much hard work and the Freehold Borough Police Department for keeping everyone safe during the installation.

We have been collecting photos and videos, so we will produce a reel of the whole process once the clock is up. Stay tuned!

We've heard folks have some questions about the forthcoming Revolutionary War Tour on 11/11.

- 'The Monument' refers to the Battle of Monmouth Monument located in Monument Park in front of the Court House. If you are lost, GPS 70 Court Street (The Monmouth County Historical Association Museum).

- You can park FOR FREE on the street on Court Street or in the lots behind 1 and 3 Broad Street.

Have more questions? Keep 'em coming. We are excited to see you all!!!

It is a good day when a piece of art is salvaged! We are grateful to the Freehold Borough Arts Council (FBAC) for dreaming this up in 2011 and to the Borough of Freehold Neighborhood Preservation Program for re-installing it in a new home.

I can't even believe that I have to write this. I am very sad to share that someone without any respect for this community vandalized one of our beautiful horses last night. As the person who proposed this project to the NPP committee and helped manage its ex*****on, I cannot be more disappointed. I was warned many times that acts like this would happen, and I stubbornly responded that it would not and that I had faith in our community. Unfortunately, I was proven wrong.

A police report has been filed. Thank you to our local businesses who *HAVE SECURITY CAMERAS* and are scanning their footage to find the person(s) who did this. If anyone saw anything, please call the Freehold Borough Police.

The horse's leg is missing, making repair very difficult. If anyone comes across it, please call the Borough Police. Please re-share this post to spread the word!

EDIT: If you find the horse leg, please don't touch it. Call the PD! Thanks.
