THERE IS NO PARKING AT THE POND ROAD ENTRANCE TO LAKE TOPANEMUS ON OLDE FREEHOLD DAY!
To save yourself time and aggravation, PLEASE read and share this very important parking information for Olde Freehold Day.
Handicap parking is at the Monmouth County Courthouse. There will be a wheelchair accessible bus that will bring you to Olde Freehold Day and take you back when you're ready.
Unless you are a vendor setting up, you will not be allowed to enter at the Pond Road entrance. Vendors will be permitted in at their assigned time and then instructed where to park, one parking pass per vendor will be issued.
Band members, volunteers and additional vendor vehicles must go to the Robertsville Road entrance, (137 Robertsville Road). Members of the Freehold VFW will be there to direct you where to park or drop off. From there you can take a free wagon ride to Olde Freehold Day.
FOR EVERYONE ELSE COMING TO ENJOY OLDE FREEHOLD DAY, TWO VERY CONVENIENT PARKING LOCATIONS WILL BE AVAILABLE:
1. Shuttle busses will be circling from the back of the Monmouth County Courthouse parking lot to Olde Freehold Day every 15 minutes or so. Just look for the buses, balloons and signage. There will be plenty of free parking available at the courthouse. Park your car and hop on a bus and you'll be at the pond in no time. Those coming for the 11:30 Honor Our Veterans ceremony will park here. Shuttle transportation to the pond will begin at 11:00.
2. The second convenient parking area is at the Lake Topanemus Robertsville Road entrance. (137 Robertsville Road for your GPS) This normally closed entrance will be open and you will be directed to a parking spot. From there wagons will pick you up and drop you off at the Olde Freehold Day area. When you're ready to go home, just hop on a wagon for a scenic ride back to the parking area.
This area will be staffed by members of the Freehold Veterans of Foreign Wars volunteers. Free will donations to the VFW are welcomed but not required.
Thank you for your anticipated cooperation and have a great Olde Freehold Day!
