At the last Freehold Township Committee Meeting, Mayor Lester Preston Jr. and the Township Committee proudly proclaimed June 7, 2026, as Tourette Syndrome Awareness Day in Freehold Township.

Tourette Syndrome affects approximately 1 in 100 children and is often accompanied by other conditions such as ADHD, OCD, learning disabilities, and depression. This proclamation helps raise awareness, promote understanding, and encourage acceptance of individuals and families living with TS.

We thank the NJ Center for Tourette Syndrome & Associated Disorders for their ongoing work to educate, support, and advocate for those affected by Tourette Syndrome.

Together, we can help break the stigma and build a more compassionate and inclusive community. ๐Ÿ’™
