Join the Freehold Township Heritage Society for monthly Second Sunday open houses, the America 250 "Happy 250th!" celebration featuring homemade ice cream and apple pie, a goat milk soap making class, old-time music jams, and the popular Fall Festival with vendors, food, live music, and activities for kids.

Oakley Farm Museum is a hidden gem right here in Freehold Township, preserving our local history while creating memorable experiences for the community.

🧼🐐 Looking for a fun and unique night out while supporting a local cause?

Join the Freehold Township Heritage Society and SNG Soaps on July 15 from 6:30–8:30 p.m. for a Goat Milk Soap Making Class Fundraiser at Oakley Farm, 189 Wemrock Road, Freehold.

Participants will create 12 ounces of custom goat milk soap (equal to three retail bars) and choose their own color, scent, and mold design. No experience is necessary, and you'll leave with handmade soap to enjoy or give as a gift.

Cost is $40 per person.

Space is limited, so register today at sngsoaps.com.

🇺🇸 Freehold Township Day – Celebrating America 250 is shaping up to be one of our biggest events ever!

Meet sports legends Ray Lucas, Ken Daneyko, Sean Landeta, and Hall of Famer Joe Klecko. Visit the Freehold Area Open Door Booth to meet the celebrities, take photos, get autographs, and enter FREE drawings for memorabilia at the Open Door Food Pantry Booth.

Enjoy live music, food vendors, a beer garden, family activities, fireworks, and the 27th Annual "Don't Forget the Vets" Car Show.

As part of Freehold Township’s America 250 Celebration, Deputy Mayor Alan Walker and Committee Member Maureen Fasano joined Recreation Commissioners Rob Nitti and Chris Novella for a fun-filled Movie in the Park at Michael J. Tighe Park featuring Zootopia 2.

Families enjoyed a beautiful evening under the stars while children received patriotic glow necklaces, wristbands, stickers, and temporary tattoos to help celebrate America’s 250th anniversary. The event was a tremendous success, and judging by the smiles and excitement throughout the night, everyone had a great time.

We’re already exploring the possibility of hosting another Movie in the Park in August or September, so keep an eye on our social media pages and website for future announcements. We look forward to seeing everyone again for another memorable night in the park!

Due to unforeseen vehicle issues experienced by the Township's recycling contractor, recycling collection in Sector D will not be completed today, Thursday, June 18.

Residents are asked to leave all recyclable materials at the curb, as the contractor will return to complete collection on Friday, June 19.

More than just a race, it was a celebration of community, patriotism, and support for our local veterans. 🇺🇸

This weekend, Freehold Township partnered with the Veterans Community Alliance and the Freehold Area Running Club to host the Red, White & Brew (Blue) 5K Run and 1-Mile Walk as part of our America 250 Celebration. Thanks to the incredible support of participants, sponsors, volunteers, and spectators, the event raised more than $10,000 to benefit local veterans.

We extend our appreciation to Commander Eaton and the Colts Neck High School ROTC for presenting the colors and assisting throughout the event, and to Julia Sienna for her beautiful rendition of the National Anthem.

Thank you to everyone who helped make this event such a tremendous success. The outstanding turnout and community spirit on display made for a memorable morning and a fitting tribute to those who have served our nation.

Mayor Lester Preston Jr. was honored to attend the ribbon-cutting ceremony for the new Raceway Jeep of Freehold, now open at 4041 Route 9 North.

Serving drivers throughout Monmouth and Ocean Counties, Raceway Jeep of Freehold offers a wide selection of new Jeep and Chrysler vehicles, expert service, express service lanes, complimentary car washes with service visits, loaner vehicles, and convenient pickup and delivery options.
