We are blessed to receive locally grown produce throughout the season. Our network of local farms, community gardens, master gardeners, and hobbyists with green thumbs have kept our shelves brimming with fresh produce all summer long.
One customer said to us recently, "Thank God for Open Door. They have been so generous and kind. There is a vast selection of food, for every dietary need. The facility is immaculately clean and there are so many volunteers. The staff is so professional and compassionate."

Our head elf and her holiday gift program blessed almost 500 kids, thanks to so many generous supporters. Colts Neck Reformed Church, Knights of Columbus, Salvation Army, Freehold Township School District, First United Methodist Church of Freehold, Hope Lutheran Church, the Co-Cathedral of St. Robert Bellarmine, St. Peters Church, and numerous private donors all did their part. Thank you to all of our wonderful community members and volunteers who helped distribute gifts and spread the joy of the holiday season.

Georgette and Shari put together an awesome food drive with the residents at Weston Landing. They collected 680 lbs of food and brought turkeys donated by Robert at Regal Restoration. Thank you for supporting our neighbors in need.

The elves at St. Gabriel's in Marlboro did their magic and whipped up a large donation of gift cards for Open Door clients. Thank you for your support during the holidays, and all year long.

Employees from Withum Smith + Brown, PC in Red Bank traded a busy work day for a busy day of volunteering when they helped with our Thanksgiving distribution. Thank you for making sure that all our clients had what they needed for their holiday meals.

Mrs. Morris and Mrs. Mudd don't let their feathers get ruffled, no matter how big the donation from Catena Elementary School. Last month all the jakes and jennies at Catena worked together, collecting two carloads of groceries, about 1,350 lbs! Thank you for your support now, and all year long.

The employees of CentraState Hospital and the Rutgers Family Medicine Residency Program at CentraState all chipped in to purchase ShopRite gift cards. That little something extra made Thanksgiving all the more special for our clients.

The Howell Bombers hit another one out of the park when they showed up en masse to help Open Door get ready for our Thanksgving distribution. Your efforts, along with help from so many others, made Thanksgiving memorable for all of our clients.

The Freehold Running Club sprinted over to Open Door this weekend with a donation of beautiful Chiquita bananas. Thank you Andy for getting this to us so all of our clients can enjoy a healthy snack.
