2024 Bayview Hose 3 Friendsgiving was a success.

On Friday November 22nd, our members and families gathered for the annual “Friends-giving” night.
Great food, great friends, great memories were had by all.

On Tuesday Nov. 19 members of Bayview Hose Co 3 along side members of and went up to Greenwood Lake NY. To help with the wildfires. The crews were under the supervision of Chief of Department Albie Gonzalez. Great experience and great comrade between the companies. It was a honor for us to help out other communities in a time of need.

Great turnout today for Freeports annual Fall Festival. Members had a good time showing off the engine and the water rescue rig. Great demonstrations done by on extrication. Overall great turnout and great time had by all.

Yesterday the members of Bayview hose 3 along with took time in the morning to teach the kids of Bayview Ave School fire safety and to show off the fire engine. Looking forward to coming back next year.

Thank you to the brothers of Ever Ready Hose 1 for hosting a water rescue drill. Learned some new things and had a good time just before the rain storm.

Sunday morning training with our neighbors practicing soemthing we don’t get to do often but it’s important to know. Since both Baldwin and Freeport are both waterfront communities, it is important for both departments to know how to draft from the canals. Drafting is when canals are used as a water source, when hydrants are not available.
