🐑✨ Our 2026 Fair theme is here!

We’re woolly excited to announce that next year’s theme is “See Ewe at the Fair!”

📅 July 21–25, 2026 • Stephenson County Fairgrounds

From the show ring to the midway, we can’t wait to gather our flock again for another year of family, livestock, and local fun.

🚗❄️ Winter Storage Update! 🛶🚐

Our first Saturday drop-off was a success — thank you to everyone who came out! We’re already about 80% full for concrete storage, so if you still need a spot for your motorhome, boat, or trailer, don’t wait!

📅 Next Storage Date: Saturday, October 25
🕗 Time: 8:00 AM – 3:00 PM

✅ Prices for concrete floor start at $250 for the entire season
✅ Open show ring storage starts at just $150 for the season

The 2025 Stephenson County Fair Association Annual Meeting will be held at 7:00 p.m. at the Stephenson County Farm Bureau – Blackhawk Conference Room located at 210 W. Spring St., Freeport, IL on Thursday, October 23 2025.
This is the meeting when new board members are nominated and voted in. If you have a desire to run for a board seat (Vice-President, Treasurer, or At-Large Seat), please send me a one-page letter stating what position you are running for, why you would like the position and how you would be an asset to the Stephenson County Fair Association family. All submissions should be:
1. Mailed or dropped off to SCFA, 2250 S Walnut Rd, Freeport, IL 61032
2. Emailed to [email protected]
Submissions must be received in the Fair Office NO LATER THAN Monday, October 20, 2025.
Want to help out with planning the fair but not sure you want to run for a board seat? Then consider joining one of our planning committees? SCFA would like to welcome members of the community to get involved with the fair. Committee members are an important part of helping plan the Stephenson County Fair each year. Not sure what committee to join? Come to a monthly board meeting (4th Thursday) or call Kate at the Fair Office and find out all the committees that are available and which one might fit best for you. Call 815-235-2918 or email [email protected] to get started.
