League of Women Voters of Freeport The League of Women Voters of Freeport is a nonpartisan organization that works to educate voters about local, state, and national political issues.

We meet at 5:30 p.m. on the 4th Tuesday, August through May at the Freeport Public Library.

While "High Hope Freeport" encountered some challenging weather situations this summer, their presence still made a difference by gathering volunteers, doing Beautify the Block clean ups, and yesterday - inviting numerous civic and non-profits groups to set up tables in the Boys & Girls Club to provide public service information! The LWV of Freeport was there - encouraging Voted Registration - and Early Voting. Several visitors to our table agreed to pass on Election & Voting information to friends and family!
