On June 17, 2026, at approximately 10:50 a.m., the Freer Police Department attempted a traffic stop on a Grey Dodge Charger entering the west Freer City Limits on U.S. Highway 59.

Following a brief pursuit, officers successfully conducted a PIT maneuver, ultimately disabling the vehicle. Upon stopping, five (5) suspected undocumented individuals fled from the vehicle on foot. Officers and assisting agencies were able to apprehend all subjects shortly thereafter.

Following an on scene investigation, it was determined that all occupants, including the driver, were present in the United States illegally. All subjects were subsequently transferred into the custody of the United States Border Patrol Freer Station for further processing and federal prosecution.

On June 16, 2026, at approximately 4:17 a.m., the Freer Police Department responded to a request for assistance from the United States Border Patrol Freer Station regarding a bailout involving a motor vehicle in which multiple suspected undocumented individuals fled the scene.

Freer Police Department officers responded to the area of N. Texas Avenue, where two outstanding undocumented individuals were last observed. At approximately 11:35 a.m., information was received indicating that the individuals were being concealed at a residence near the 400 block of Carolyn Street within the city limits of Freer, Texas.

Upon arrival, officers conducted an on scene investigation and located two undocumented individuals concealed within the residence. The subjects were subsequently transferred into the custody of Freer Police Department Task Force Officers assigned to Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) for further processing and deportation proceedings.

The driver of the vehicle, along with all remaining undocumented individuals were taken into custody by the United States Border Patrol Freer Station Agents.

On June 15, 2026, at approximately 1:00 p.m., officers with the Freer Police Department attempted to conduct a traffic stop on a motor vehicle near the 4500 block of U.S. Highway 59 within the city limits of Freer, Texas.

Following the attempt to stop the vehicle, officers successfully incapacitated the vehicle. At least two occupants then exited the vehicle and fled on foot near the western city limits of Freer. After a short foot pursuit, officers were able to immediately apprehend both individuals without further incident.

On June 14, 2026, at around 10:25 a.m., the Freer Police Department K-9 Unit conducting Operation Stone Garden enforcement, conducted a traffic stop on a motor vehicle near the intersection of Highway 16 and Wendt Street within the city limits of Freer, Texas.

During the on scene investigation, officers determined that four occupants concealed within the vehicle were present in the United States illegally. All four undocumented individuals were subsequently transferred into the custody of Freer Police Department Task Force Officers assigned to Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) for further processing.

On June 10, 2026, at approximately 1:55 p.m., officers with the Freer Police Department, alongside the Freer Police Department K-9 Unit, while on duty conducting Operation Stonegarden enforcement, conducted a traffic stop on a motor vehicle near the intersection of U.S. Highway 59 and State Highway 16 within the city limits of Freer, Texas.

Following the occupant's refusal to identify himself and an on-scene investigation conducted by officers, the suspect was identified as ๐‹๐ฎ๐ข๐ฌ ๐„๐ง๐ซ๐ข๐ช๐ฎ๐ž ๐‚๐š๐ฌ๐ญ๐ซ๐จ, ๐š ๐Ÿ‘๐ŸŽ-๐ฒ๐ž๐š๐ซ-๐จ๐ฅ๐ ๐ฆ๐š๐ฅ๐ž ๐Ÿ๐ซ๐จ๐ฆ ๐‹๐š๐ซ๐ž๐๐จ, ๐“๐ž๐ฑ๐š๐ฌ.
