Our latest upgrade - a grid-tied 6kw array by Dragon Solar in Cortland. This will charge a future EV and tractor. We’re currently supplying a few select loads in the Earthship and sending the excess back to the grid while using it for rainwater harvesting too. Underneath is for firewood curing, tool storage, and Robin nesting cavities.

Our first ever dragonfruit blossoms arrived the other day. Lots of citrus fruit setting and baby pineapples as well.

Harvest season is kicking into high gear! This year we’re growing cabbage, tomatillos, poblano peppers, tomatoes, and chilis for Village Taqueria in Dryden. Although it’s a small part of their usage, it feels good to be part of our local food system.
