July 4th kiddie parade sign up at Gertrudes 9 am parade at 10 am. everyone is welcome to join us in the celebration. Our meat raffle will be drawn at 11 am at the buss stop

Tonight, we got out on the water. Lots of practice with the boat by playing a bit of hid-and-seek! A crew on shore vs a crew in the boat...each used the 'what3words' app to find each other's locations. We also put in some more training on the pump panel and water movement. Great jobs tonight, guys!

Our thoughts and prayers are with the family and our brothers and sisters at MFD

It is with great saddness that we share the news that one of our own, Firefighter Mark Craig passed away this morning after a courageous battle against cancer. Our thoughts and prayers are with his family and friends, and there were many of them. We'll post when any services are held for him. Thank you Mark for your 42 years of membership with the Manawa Rural Fire Department. Rest easy Brother, we'll take it from here.
