OUR BUILDING IS EXPERIENCING AN UNEXPECTED POWER OUTAGE!!!

Our phones are out, call center is down, and we have deployed remote work as much as we can.

Our JFS offices are currently closed for a power outage from about 12:30 for the rest of the day today- Wednesday 2/21- as the outage is expressed to last until at least 4 pm. We will resume regular business tomorrow, Thursday 2/22.

All JFS offices (Children Services, Child Support, Workforce and Public Assistance) are currently closed. Locked drop boxes may be utilized at our building entrances if you need to drop off documents. Non-emergency emails can also be sent to [email protected].

During all closures, evenings and weekends- Children Services and Adult Protection emergency calls can be made to 419-334-8708.

Thank you for your understanding during our emergency closure!

Please be advised OhioMeansJobs Sandusky County will be closed for business on December 25th and December 26th, for the upcoming holiday season. Normal hours will resume on Wednesday, December 27th.

We're preparing our texting service to send out a mass text message to anyone that will need to pick-up gifts at Terra. If you've had a change in your primary phone number since you applied, please send us that update by 12/5/23.

Our notifications will be sent to anyone that receives text messages first, emails will be sent second, and finally calls will be made. Once again this year we are fortunate to have volunteers that will assist with deliveries to all senior only households. Our volunteer drivers will begin contacting their seniors near the end of the week.

As always your patience in response from our volunteer team is greatly appreciated! We are working to ensure that all 1,641 children/teens/seniors that requested gifts are receiving those as well as all that requested food assistance.

Christmas cheer will be spreading wide and far this December, may everyone that is a part of Community Christmas of Sandusky County experience the joy of the season!
