Last night member got to train under live fire conditions. Member's reviewed ventilation, flow paths and thermal layering.

Member were also able to review and get more hands on training with the Seek Thermal Imaging cameras that were purchased with the donations and funds raised during our annual Spanky's Pizza firefighter night.

The dept was able to purchase 3 cameras. 1 Seek Attack Pro and 2 Seek Fire Pro 300 thermal imaging cameras to help firefighters better locate hidden fire and locate victims during search and rescue operations.

A huge thank you goes to everyone that sponsored or donated and attended the Spank's Pizza night.

In 1974 President Ford authorized EMS Week to honor and recognize the men and women who respond provide critical medical care to those in need. The staff of Fremont Fire Department stand at the ready 24/7 365 days a year to provide this service to anyone in need. Regardless of the call a rescue, traffic crash, or medical emergency we train to provide care when and where ever needed. Please take a moment this week to thank and recognize those who work in EMS. Thank You to all of our Newaygo Co EMS responders for your dedication to this great profession.

The City's Water Department will additionally be testing hydrants throughout town on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday this week, where you might see some discoloration as well!

Please be vigilant while driving and don't drive through standing or flowing water that may be across the roads. Flooding is expected through the weekend before the rivers reach their crest.
