The City and Muth Electric appreciate the public's patience during the traffic signal improvement construction on 23rd St & Lincoln, 23rd St & Broad, 23rd St & Somers and Clarkson & Military.

Crews have been working evenings for safety and to reduce congestion during peak hours.

As we get closer to the switchover process, it’s not uncommon to have signals in flashing mode. There are several steps in integrating the new system and testing involved for each intersection.

Due to these last few heavy rainfalls, it has caused a few delays. Technicians are onsite moving forward with Broad Street intersection. Drivers will experience minor delays, temporary shifts and/or period when the intersections will operate on a flashing safety cycle.

Once again, the City and Muth Electric appreciate the community’s patience and cooperation through the infrastructure of the project. Please keep in mind navigating construction zones requires extra time and attention to keep the community and crew safe.
