The Plant It Forward Seed Library will be closing on Labor Day so staff can get ready for the next growing season. Until then, there are still plenty of seeds in limited stock! You can check out five seed packets each month using your library card!

🎞The Keene Memorial Library presents a History of Cinema in Fremont, NE, presented by John Mullen. 🎥Join us Tuesday, August 25, at 6:30 PM to learn about the history of film in Fremont dating back to the 1800s. Learn about the history of various theaters and movie rental stores that used to be in town. NO registration required, and it's FREE for all ages.

🔆August is almost here, and so will be another Craftin' Around session! ✨This month, on Tuesday, August 18th, from 2-4 PM, we're going to be making mini beaded plants! These are plants that will never die and add some sparkle to your home. Supplies are included, but if you want to bring your own beads, feel free! Seats are limited, so be sure to register when it opens on August 4th. This is a 19 years old and older program, so bring a friend, leave the kids, and get some quality crafting in!

🐕📚Registration is open for Reading Tails this Saturday, August 1st! The library is partnering with Healing Heart Therapy Dogs for this special program. Reading to a therapy dog encourages children to increase their reading skills and self-confidence.
