The Fremont Area District Library encourages participation on all its social media platforms; however, we ask that users keep postings
and comments appropriate for all audiences. That includes posts that contain:
Obscene content or hate speech
Personal attacks, insults, or threatening language
Private or personal information, including phone numbers and addresses, or requests for personal information
Potentially libelous statements
Plagiarized material
Commercial, political, or religious messages unrelated to the Library or its social media postings
Solicitation of funds
The Fremont Area District Library also reserves the right to ban or block users who violate this policy. The Fremont Area District Library is not responsible for the content posted by others on its social media platforms. User content is the opinion of the specific author and does not necessarily represent the opinions of the Library. Photo Policy
The Fremont Area District Library reserves the right to utilize photographs or video taken at the library for publicity purposes in printed materials and online. All library patrons and attendees consent to the use of their photo taken by library staff at the library or during library events, unless they specifically inform staff of an objection to such use during the event. No names will be utilized in conjunction with photos without express written or verbal consent.
