Wild Winds Buffalo Preserve Guided tours into the bison herd: $14 adults, $9 10 yrs old and under, free 2 years old and under. SUMMER HOURS (May - Nov.):

Tours into the bison herd are $10 for adults, $7 for kids age 10 and under, and free for kids under 2 years old. WINTER HOURS (Nov. - May):
Saturday & Sunday. 10 am - 4 pm. Last tours out are always at 3 pm! Please call us about hosting an event, or for prices for our White Pine Lodge Bed and Breakfast: 260-495-0137. The bed and breakfast is open year round, 7 days a week.

“Buffalo bird, cow bird, or lazy bird.” There are many names for the ubiquitous and sometimes misunderstood bird that serves as nature’s parasite control, but if the buffalo bird didn’t lay its eggs in other bird species’ nests, it wouldn’t be able to follow the bison herds!

Buns baked by our Amish neighbors, bison meat from Wild Winds, local cheese, and a homegrown musician 😉 are all on the plate at this evening’s special “Bison Meat Tasting & Tour.” This unique event is SOLD OUT, but there are still plenty of other tours and events this weekend at other locations - some of them free.
