The time is always right to do what is right. Martin Luther King, Jr Hi I'm Justin C. Smith and I'm running for Fremont City Council 1st Ward.

I am excited to have the privilege of running for public office. As a life long resident who has experienced the best Fremont can offer I feel its time for me to give back to this great Community. I'm creating this page to help citizens reach out to me with thoughts and questions about my campaign. Thanks for all the support.

Another great day at the Sandusky County Fair!

I’m so thankful for the support of so many great friends, including Ben Decker and Lee Shaffer. I’ve had the privilege of working alongside both of them for decades to promote conservative values and make our community a better place.

I’m grateful for their friendship, their support, and everyone who continues to stand with me. Thank you! 🇺🇸

It was another great day at the Sandusky County Fair!

One of the highlights was running into a former student from Lakota who I had the opportunity to teach while subbing in sixth grade. I hadn’t seen him since he was in sixth grade, so it meant a lot that he remembered me—and even remembered my knowledge of the presidents and the bank robbery story I shared after actually being in the middle of a bank robbery! 😄

Moments like this are a great reminder of how fortunate I’ve been to work with so many incredible young people throughout Sandusky County.

There’s nothing quite like a summer evening at the Sandusky County Fair!

I always enjoy seeing so many familiar faces, catching up with family and friends, and running into former students along the way. It’s one of those events that reminds me what makes Sandusky County such a great place to call home.

I also enjoyed sharing a 4-H milkshake with Congressman Bob Latta and his wife, Marcia.

Had a great time attending the Fremont Ross and St. Joe Meet the Team event. It was wonderful seeing so many familiar faces, supporting our student-athletes, and celebrating the start of another school year. Once a Little Giant, always a Little Giant!

Proud to support our students, our schools, and our community as I continue my campaign for election as County Commissioner.

It was great to be back at Gibsonburg High School for the football team’s Meet the Team event! 🏈

Gibsonburg holds a special place in my heart. I had the privilege of teaching here, and my family has deep roots in the community—including time spent on the football field. Coming back and seeing the next generation of Golden Bears was a great reminder of what makes this community so special.

Wishing the players and coaches a safe, successful, and exciting season! Go Bears!

Had a great time at Brew, Brats & Bands supporting the Rotary Club of Fremont! Such a fun evening filled with good food, live music, great people, and an even better cause. ❤️

Another exciting day serving as your Sandusky County Commissioner!

I had the opportunity to participate in fire extinguisher training alongside Sandusky County employees, learning valuable skills to help keep our workplaces and community safe.

Tonight, I enjoyed attending the Bellevue High School Fall Sports Rally! It's always great to get out and support the students and young athletes in our communities.

Proud to serve Sandusky County and support the people who make our communities great!

I had the honor of attending the Fremont Day of Prayer today at Birchard Park. It was great to see so many people from our community coming together. Grateful for the opportunity and for the many blessings we enjoy.

I will also be asking the voters of the 26th Senate District to serve your interest on the Republican State Central Committee. I will always work hard to serve you and do the right thing!
