OCEDP’s 3rd round of Small Business Grants received 10 applications with over $90,000 requested in funding. The total amount of private investment dollars for this year’s grant cycle is over $400,000!

Elite Therapeutic Massage & Tanning received funding to support the purchase of hydraulic massage tables and specialty inserts, allowing their team to improve the quality of care and service for their clients.

Exciting growth for Orange County!

Congratulations to OCEDP member River View Farms on its expansion in Orleans, which is expected to create up to 63 new jobs by the end of 2029. This fifth-generation family business is expanding its egg and swine operations, doubling its egg grading capacity and creating additional opportunities for local agricultural partners.

OCEDP is proud to support this project through our Catalyst Fund, which was developed to advance business growth and major community projects that contribute to long-term economic success. River View Farms’ decision to grow here at home reflects its deep roots in Orleans and continued commitment to our community. We appreciate their investment in Orange County and look forward to the opportunities this expansion will bring!

OCEDP traveled to Loogootee to attend a Destination Identity Workshop, hosted by the Martin County Alliance!

The workshop provided a great opportunity to explore the importance of community identity, discover ways to highlight what makes our communities unique, and gain fresh perspectives on promoting the places we call home.
